Firsts. . . . .

This week, specifically today, is a time of firsts. This is a photo of Ross as he was leaving Indy to get set up for his first flight as a First Officer. He was leaving here and "jump seating" to Buffalo, NY by way of Chicago. Then tomorrow (Sat. Sept 1), he will begin his jet flying career. Wow. What more can I say. God has been gracious!


Philip kinda had a second this week! He moved for a second time, from one hall to an upperclassman dorm. He is thrilled, he has a room mate and two other suite mates. Each room of two has their OWN PRIVATE BATHROOM. It also has a little kitchenette with a sink. WoooHooo. It looks like a hotel. So instead of a first, he had a first twice or a second! ha ha! He also had his first Cru (Campus Crusade) event and last night his first on campus Bible Study. He also had his first Ecology Field Trip, complete with poison ivy, which so far has not shown up on his skin!!


Kathryn has had a first this week, too!! Her first round of college theatre auditions on Tuesday. She had callbacks on Wed and Thursday for all of the 3 shows for the first semester. Pretty Exciting! Especially exciting since she was cast as the lead female in the first show! She is Felicity Fair! (Remember Little Nell?) Her first college performance, her first college leading role!! Mark your calendars and buy up marshmallows! The first show is called "Caught in the Villian's Web: or More sinned Against than Sinning" and it is a melodrama! ha ha! It feels more like a British Farce. The dates are October 5, 6, 18, 20 at 8:00 pm and Oct.7 at 3:00pm. In the Ransburg Auditorium. Hope to see you there! (The marshmallows are for throwing at the actors!! Yup, its a melodrama!!)
