mini update

A quick mini update. . . we harvested our first RED RIPE TOMATO!!! It was a cherry tomato, but it was wonderful!!! Looking for more soon!! Would have posted a picture of them, but they got eaten fairly quickly!! Kathryn's room is almost updated, just trim in one spot and a light to be added. Heading up to Chicago area to pick up her bed from IKEA. Shipping was crazy and we get to use the company car. It will be an adventure. We had more water in the basement, on a much smaller scale, this time due to a failed water heater and it only spread in the furnace room and to the sump. I think I would like to spend a little time in California or a desert where there is a lack of water. I feel fortunate that we have been spared so much of the losses that others have felt during these floods. No complaints really!!

Philip did his first Grace on Wings flight right before the flood. He flew as the EMT on the mission to Orlando to pick up a patient and bring them back to Indiana. It is an amazing thing he does! It's a great organization and you might even be moved to support them! http://www.graceonwings.org/ He also worked another 24 hour shift on a 911 truck this week. I think it cured him from EVER wanting to ride a motorcycle on the road. Abby is a full fledged Barista now! Ross is flying still and is on reserve so we never know exactly when he will be here or not!

That's about it for now, lots of fun chaos around here, but its great!
